Hi I home someone can answer this. My family has been on the council housing waiting list for about 5 years now. I heard that if I had mental health illness I could get 'bumped' up the list. Is this true? I heard one family managed to get a house using this method even though they already own a flat? They still managed to get a home with these claims? I heard they also.claimed their neighbours were bullying them but according to their old neighbours it was this family that was making trouble so they could get this council home I do believe this to be true as i have been told this by their neighbours. How can this happen? Who is the mental health worker who does this? Can someone help? I think the corrupt system should be stopped and the lady a acha and the nurs should be held accountable

I purchased a new garden shed through these people, the agreement was they would lay a three slabs to extend shed base prior to placement, they also agreed to remove the existing shed, which was in another corner of the yard. The joiners Leven came and erected the new shed. Lovely job.. Twin Landscapes were paid in full. When I called regarding the removal of the old shed Twin Landscapes said they would be about three weeks out, which I accepted! after a month I still had not heard a peep from Twin Landscapes. I called again twice and got the same story. I had to have another contractor remove the shed Cost me 60 pound. which is a lot for any pensioner, I approached them directly today as they were near my house, they told me it cost over 100 to dump the shed, I just want my 60. They came back with (do you have that in writing) what scum...

In the process Ms Fitzsimons evicted her brother still living with his father at the family home and made him homeless. She moved her father to 32 Upper Carloway, Isle of Lewis with her. It's believed the amount taken was considerably more. Ms Fitzsimons' crime was discovered when she later placed him in a care home and the fees went unpaid.Ms Fitzsimons was due to be sentenced on the 4th of July but now deferred until 16th August at Stornoway Sheriff Court.

To deal with this problem of vandalism, may I suggest a phone list network (name /number) of people willing to turn up at an instants notice, a speed dial list, to send short messages to participants (street trouble on, should be sufficient). The idea is to get several people turning up at the site of trouble, to confront trouble makers and film them / take photos, so that they can be identified and their crimes documented. Instead of them victimising individuals, you can keep things anonymous as callers can remain unknown to perpetrators of crimes. Likewise, if we know who they are and where they live, we can visit them and let their parents know what is going on and of course, working with the police the whole situation can be exposed, rather than intimidated into being kept hidden. In other words instead of them dividing and conquering the community through mob rule, we can reverse the situation by using their own tactics against them. Joining Neighbourhood Watch also keeps this legal and ensures advice from a national organisation, to find other solutions to this vandalism problem and any other troubles in the community. If anybody wants to put this up on Facebook please do.

Need something new to do next year. Like open doors walks or ever wondered what birds or animals live around Fogwatt or have an small interest in your community enviroment. Then this could be a New Start and keep you feeling Good about 2022. A small seed idea has just been posted on the Fogwatt Hall Web site. A Spring Event :Seed and Plant swap /exchange including gardening tips session in Fogwatt Hall. But that's not all! Activities for children (get them out of the house on a Saturday) A chance to discover gardening organisations, Woodland Trust, Reap Moray, Moray Beekepers Association, RSPB and any other enviromental groups in Moray. Stalls and displays on wildlife, plants, forestry, woodland, ponds and burns (whats in the distillery ponds), (how many bambies are there roaming neaby) bird & fish habitats in your neghbourhood. Save a toad, squirells, herons, birds of prey etc who surveys and checks the numbers! Its a chance to take a closer look at Fogwatts enviroment and possibly seek funding for community enviromental projects. Community Fruit trees, or other projects. Links with Distilleries, they are all going Green and have funds to prove themselves. Get a electric charge point for your car located at the Hall, after all you'll need one in future if you attend the bowling or WRVS and other events in the hall sometime soon. So if you have any ideas and want to be creative or just want a plant to swap or garden items to loan or trade. Lets meet up soon. Contact me by 08-01-22 and we can arrange a open air meeting (Covid Rules applied) to gauge community interest. If there are no replies then the ideas vanish in the ether and Fogwatt can go back to slumber another year. If you just want to be involved in a small or big way or like to see something new in your neighbourhood in Spring 2022 in Fogwatt Hall, nows the time to come along to the open air meeting sometime in January.
