I agree 💯%. I see people throwing not only cups and cans out of the windows of their vehicle's, but 2 or more huge bags of household trash out as well Or if they do dispose of it, it's usually at the car wash or a businesses dumpster.

The streets are becoming a dump site for every acholic that's driving around. You see them on back streets, the main streets, and on the town square. When they are finished they just throw cans, bottles, etc out of the windows. Not only does it look terrible, but it's also dangerous for any child/person walking, or riding a bike. Then the motorcycles, and other motorist's that hits it and slings it around. Come on people we can do better than this! And also the creek that runs on Dalton St. and so on is also not a place to throw your trash, children play in this creek, people fish from it also. And the fishermen and visitors at Baltz Lake also needs to use the trash cans provided for them instead of throwing trash into the lake. Styrofoam don't sink, it's non degradable, just throw it in the trash cans people. It's not just kids that doesn't have respect it's the adults as well.

By the looks of things in pocahontas and the randolph co. area, the authorities have been cleaning up the streets from conterfite money, warrants for stolen documents, large so called drug arrests, and to the public everything looks great. But did ya ever stop and think. How many of these allegations produce convictions after the people who were involved have had there name blasted on Facebook and news break, kait 8 news, front pages of the star herald the anwser is very few. The sheriff's dept. Might as well get tips from the elementary school bathroom. What most don't get to see is these guys work around the clock from meeting young girls in cemeteries at 2 a. m. to making calls on inmates Facebook messanger accounts off phones that they have confiscated in order just to get another lead to get another couple folks in jail. I'm not sure who is worse the detectives who make up info to get the warrants signed or the judge that is signing a stack of blank warrants. I guess what I am saying is LOOK OUT. It could be you scratching your head wondering why your getting multiple charges and takin to jail for something that your neighbors grandma happen to let slip when in line at walmart. What is going on may look good but it is not right. The police and sheriff's deputies are not above the law. Know your rights and don't let these guys walk all over you. What everyone needs to understand is that these guys work for us to protect and serve, not to intimidate and fabricate false accusations which wreck the lives and slander the names of people who are going through difficult times as we all are from time to time. Blending the law to protect and serve is not what our town needs. What it needs is real officers that are there to help and provide good examples for our children. If my kids were acting like these guys do now, I would have sent them to a behavioral rehab and a long stay. Thanks for reading

Why is that every time you go dollar general the shelves are empty.. a person can't walk through the store.. that store is going down hill fast.. I will never go back there.. seems that they never have enough help.. you have to stand in line at the check out.. . that store is in really bad shape.. .
