Every time we drove by We 3 Every time we drove past Westville I used to marvel at how much land they had that they could get hay from. It reminded me of the days when I worked hauling hay, back when we loaded 60 lb. bales on the back of a truck and then stacked them in a barn. It was hot, dirty work, but I loved it. The idea hit me that you could get a lot of hay from that land and move it by railroad to less fertile areas where they needed forage for their cattle. It costs much less to move freight by rail than it does by truck. Then it struck me that you could raise a lot of cows on that land. Why move hay to far away places when you could use the land to pasture cattle at home? It could be a humane alternative to factory farming. Maybe you could do both, send some of the hay to far away places and graze large herds on it at home. I don't know if these ideas are good ideas. They're just something I thought up.

I have read so much over the last couple of years about Ashley Parra being charged with 2nd Degree Rape for sleeping with an inmate. Who was also her boyfriend and/or Fiance while she was a corrections officer at Pushmataha County Jail. I've have watched, read, and heard her name being blasted on social media, the News, the newspaper, as well as out of peoples mouths. Yet through any of it or at any point in time did the County Sheriff's Office think of the affect it would have on her children, siblings, parents, and family. Im not saying what happened was something to be proud of but the woman was human and people make mistakes in life. Not one of you who ran her down through social media, to another person, the news, or newspaper is innocent in any way. Pushmataha County Sheriff's office as well as people through out the said county who act like they are just stand up people have skeletons learking and still do things that would be considered crimes. But none of that is mentioned because you are all to busy judging her. This also brings me to my next topic. While she was blasted, judged, ridiculed, and name just drug through the dirt. No one in or on the News, Newspapers, social media, or community blasted, bad mouthed, judged, or made it known that once again Pushmataha County Sheriff's office was dealing with another corrections officer who did the same exact thing not to long after Ms. Parra was sentenced to 1 year in prison. Only this time it was a male corrections officer. Can any of you tell me why that is? I would really love to know why she was blasted in every which direction and the male corrections officer was not! I have never seen his name posted on social media or printed in a newspaper. But yet it is said that the Counties Sheriff keeps his community informed. Why not one time was the male corrections officers charges as well as name put to the publics eye? What is the difference? Same crime, same county jail, and pretty sure the same charge. Just never drug through the mud like Ms. Parra. I do not see one bit of difference. It's like its hush hush on the male corrections officer. Was Ms. Parra just that one to be made an example of, because by no means was her situation hush hush and the victim in her case was her boyfriend/fiance and was consensual The victim in the male correction officers case was not his girlfriend nor his fiance so im assuming it was not consensual. That looks like it would be shown as more of a concern to the community. Yet again nothing was blasted or made known. All this being said maybe all you people from sheriff office to the community need to think and reevaluate things before you say, post, or print anything again.
