MIsty Me, is not connected to the sarcastic message she or he ( with other aliases ) is a disturbing notorious daily spammer of recent years before covid-19. This vulgar individual is\was an obsessed psychopathic obscene hater of, Mr. John Rankin, who's only crime was a youtube video of proclaiming laziness of all young peoples ( I understand the anger of the individual spammer) however to flood every message and then remove all discussion (upon losing one debate) to prevent any real information and close the open lines of communication is unethical and downright immoral whereas, Orange Cove, at one time discontinued its local news paper. It does not get anymore F@%ked-up than that!!!

Does anyone have any info about her? She was 39 and killed in the hit and run on Jan 9, 2021 by the northbound exit ramp of 99 by Fresno st. Any friends or locals who may have been in contact with her recently or knew where she lived or worked please let me know. I miss her terribly and answers would be helpful. She wasn’t from there and lived most of her life in MO and I moved to east coast and her west so we weren’t as close recently. Please please please. She has children who may want answers at some point.

Thankfully, miracles have happened and the dogs are being adopted one by one!! Such awesome news for them. Sadly, many of the new dogs to that shelter ran by city of O. C. Don’t have the same fate.

Upon reading and catching up on my favorite little town I was heartbroken to find out that the City cancelled its contract with Focus due to a failure to report funds to IRS, which in reality is no big deal since they have up to three years to do so, it is an easy fix. Now the City Of Orange Cove has taken over the duties of the volunteer group which roughly ran around 30, 000 which is cheap considering it is now going to cost double that and poor quality care if at all is given to the animals. On November 25, 2019, the President signed a bill the Preventing Animal Cruelty and Torture Act makes intentional acts of cruelty to animals federal crimes carrying penalties of up to seven years in prison. I 'm not sure if O. C. was aware of the implications some of the volunteers are suggesting as far as care goes, however if half the animals are put down what they are saying is more than likely true. It would be interesting if the City of O. C. acted the best interest of the animals, if not why not? Right now as it sits FOCUS can sue the City of Orange Cove despite the tax issues it is a separate issue and yes the City can be charged with animal cruelty and neglect, as well as emotional abuse to the Volunteers, see IRS issue is separate and should have been dealt with as so, w/o losses. Good case it is no slap on the wrist anymore just because your an unqualified City Official gives you no easy pass, something those in charge need to consider. Focus can sue and more than likely will win, the City has every right to cancel its contract with Focus, however mediation process should have ensued so that the group had an opportunity to fulfill their obligations at the time for the animals and possibly relocate the animals as well, why this did not happen is something i would love to hear the City explain to a judge. It is never too late to mediate and come to the table to work out these things for the animals sake, it is a heck of a lot better than being dragged in court for Animal Neglect and abuse. Wise up City of O. C. and do the right thing come to the table mediate and negotiate, what is in the best interest of and for the animals.
