If you follow the defi crypto space on Twitter, then you have probably heard of user @TheRealMrCrypto. The user of this twitter tag is Kentucky citizen, Bickery Perez. Perez built his Twitter following by being an early holder of the Safemoon token. Thousands of Twitter followers were attracted to his positive content surrounding the token. However, as time went by Bickery Perez started posting less about Safemoon and started shilling random tokens. Most crypto enthusiasts hold a diverse amount of crypto but several people had an issue with Perez continuing to shill other projects. But why? Almost all of the tokens that Perez started shilling during that time ended up being “Pump & Dumps” or “Rug Pulls. ” Some of those projects that he shilled hard that were pump and dumps or complete failures include: Skyborn, GenWealth, Seed Token, Queef, Papel, Piggy, Newb, Delta8 plus several others. He even created a coin named Punani that he claimed was a “joke. ” Unfortunately, it was a very expensive joke for many people who lost money. Another reason the crypto community had a negative reaction towards Perez, was because he would shill the token, they would pump and then they would all have a huge dump. Shortly afterwards Perez would just stop talking about that particular token like it never existed and he would be on to the next. Many started to see the pattern. Where is Bickery Perez now? He has since created another new token called the Crypto Bulls and is lead by a team who has helped him shill the for mentioned pump and dumps. Those members of his crew include twitter users Holly Diaz @LemmeHollyatU, @nicey0092, and @RichardSpilotro. One member who was part of Perez’s crew was twitter user @JeffCryptoBulls who recently announced he would be leaving the Crypto Bulls, citing an issue with Perez as his reason for leaving. While Bickery Perez still has a following amongst some Safemoon holders, he has a widely negative image with the majority due to his past. A thread on the Safemoon subreddit page has several comments from Safemoon holders blasting Perez for what they refer to as scamming. Therealmrcrypto Scam artist : SafeMoon (reddit. com) For someone like Perez, who is trying to paint himself as an influencer in the crypto space. His alleged past and current motivations could cripple those long term dreams and potentially could cause serious legal troubles for himself and the Crypto Bulls team. To all crypto holders out there, continue to DYOR and don’t buy because of so-called social media “influencers. ”
